- Administer psychiatric medications and monitor their effects

- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Monitor patients for changes in behavior and mental status
- Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and treatment options
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Provide crisis intervention when necessary
Skills
- Experience in psychiatric nursing in hospital or long-term care settings
- Proficiency in medical records management
- Knowledge of ostomy care and gastric lavage procedures
- Ability to phlebotomize and perform PICU or emergency medicine duties
