Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Supervisor to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. The ideal candidate will play a key role in coordinating and overseeing the MDS assessment process, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. This position also involves care planning, staff supervision, and direct resident care management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement care plans based on resident needs as assessed by the care team.
- Oversee all aspects of the MDS assessment process to ensure compliance with federal and state requirements.
- Participate in the management and supervision of resident care.
- Demonstrate and promote safe work practices and behaviors.
- Act as a liaison between families, residents, and staff, providing clear communication and support.
- Identify changes in a resident’s condition and intervene appropriately based on clinical knowledge, nursing judgment, and physician orders.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of two years of experience in MDS Coding.
- RNAC Certification preferred.
- Strong clinical, leadership, and management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationship abilities.
- High level of initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Two years of recent clinical experience in a healthcare setting (geriatric experience preferred).
- One year of supervisory or management experience.
- Active RN License in the state of Florida.
