Wealth Advisor – Fee-Only Financial Planning Firm
A growing, independent fee-only financial planning firm is seeking a Wealth Advisor who is passionate about financial planning and eager to step into a leadership role with equity partnership potential. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with a client base of high-earning professionals, gain mentorship on running a successful advisory practice, and contribute to a collaborative, growth-focused team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect Engagement & Onboarding – Assist in closing new clients, presenting financial plans, and managing the onboarding process, including account setup and transfers.
- Client Review Meetings – Prepare and lead client review meetings, ensuring all aspects of financial planning and investment strategies align with their goals.
- Investment & Portfolio Management – Play an active role in portfolio allocation decisions and monitor trade activity within firm-managed ETF model portfolios.
- Client Service & Relationship Management – Provide prompt and proactive responses to client inquiries, managing requests efficiently while ensuring exceptional service.
- Team Mentorship & Leadership – Support and mentor junior team members by fostering problem-solving skills and a client-first approach.
- Collaborative Team Engagement – Contribute to firm-wide strategy discussions and brainstorming sessions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong interest in future equity ownership (within three years).
- Holds at least one of the following credentials: CFP®, CPA, CFA, or MBA.
- Minimum five years of financial advisory experience, with significant client-facing responsibilities.
- Proficiency in industry software such as CRM (e.g., Wealthbox), financial planning tools (e.g., eMoney), custodian platforms (e.g., Fidelity), and reporting systems (e.g., Tamarac).
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks, think creatively, and demonstrate a deep passion for financial planning.
- Excellent communication skills with comfort in client interactions via in-person meetings, phone, email, and video conferencing.
- Team-oriented with the flexibility to wear multiple hats in a growing firm.
