DevOps Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor Microsoft Azure environments to ensure uptime and reliability
- Automate deployment and infrastructure using scripting and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools
- Lead implementation of CI/CD pipelines and improve automation processes
- Collaborate with developers, operations engineers, security teams, and internal stakeholders
- Contribute to a collaborative, fast-paced, and customer-focused environment
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years in DevOps, cloud engineering, or similar roles
- Proven experience with Azure: virtual networks, identity & access, DNS, monitoring, backup, security, and cost management
- Hands-on with Azure services like Monitor, Application Gateway, Entra ID, Key Vault, Storage, Defender, OpenAI
- Strong scripting/coding skills in Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, or C#
- Proficient with IaC tools: ARM, Bicep, Terraform
- Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps
- Familiar with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
- Knowledge of tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk
- Skilled in writing system documentation and working in Agile environments (e.g. Jira)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft architecture best practices, governance, and zero trust principles
- Passion for technology and continuous learning
Preferred Qualifications:
- Broad experience across multi-cloud (AWS a plus), on-prem systems, networking, automation, and patch management
- Experience with Azure PaaS services like App Services, Functions, SQL Database, Data Factory, Synapse, etc.
- Understanding of AI and tools like Azure OpenAI
