Quality Assurance Engineer
Under the supervision of the QA Manager, the Quality Assurance Engineer will develop test strategies, estimates, and plans for integrated systems, ensuring alignment with business needs in collaboration with other teams.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure high standards of software quality and operational efficiency.
- Provide input on functional requirements and advise on software design and configuration.
- Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts for functional, integration, and acceptance testing.
- Conduct end-to-end black-box testing, ensuring traceable and testable requirements.
- Prepare test environments, analyze test results, and report defects with impact assessments.
- Perform defect triage and provide clear details for resolution.
- Communicate test metrics to support quality decision-making.
- Recommend improvements and influence implementation decisions.
- Collaborate with on-site, off-site, and offshore team members.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3 - 5 years of QA experience supporting critical business applications.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and issue management tools.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall environments.
- Proficiency in SQL queries and API testing (Post, Put, Get, Delete).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Suite and legal software applications (preferred).
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Salary : $100,000 - $125,000
