About the Position
We are looking for a Power Distribution Engineer who can design and implement electrical distribution systems for our manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, be able to design and develop electrical system plans, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical distribution systems for our manufacturing facility.
- Evaluate and troubleshoot electrical systems, including VFDs, motor controls, and AC/DC control circuits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient production processes.
- Implement and maintain electrical system designs and layouts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
- At least five years of experience as a Power Distribution Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of 3-phase, 480-volt power and local, state, and federal codes.
- Familiarity with VFDs and PLCs.
