What Pre-Requisites You’ll Have:
·Associate degree or greater in Drafting and Design
·All skill sets from Drafter 1 mastered
·Roughly 3-5 years experience
What Skill-Sets You’ll Possess:
·Read Construction Drawings
· Knowledge of Revit, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and rendering software
· knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and other Creative Suite apps
· level production tasks, including:
o Modeling small to medium projects
o Work through Prototypes, with customizations
-Prototypical project ComChecks
-Prototypical project Specs, under supervision
o Fully Annotated Floor Plans, Demo Plan, and Site Plans
o Exterior Elevations and Roof Plans
o Doors and Windows, with schedules
o Wall types, for small and medium projects
o Standard Details, with minor modifications
o Knowledgeable on common Building Envelope
o Knowledgeable on common Exterior Finish Systems
o Knowledgeable on common Structural Systems
o Knowledgeable on common MEP Systems
o Simple Code Compliance/ Egress Sheets
· Level Architectural Design tasks, including
o Participating in Design Charettes
o Simple Exhibits and Studies, as needed
o Precedent Research
o Beginner level design work, such as a plan layout
o Beginner level Renderings in Lumion
- Take Field Measurements, under supervision
- Pickup specific and detailed redlines.
- Mentoring/Assisting other production staff as needed.
- Work through interior design tasks as necessary.
- Maintain organized project files and documentation.
- Review your own drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to Kinetic standards.

How You'll Integrate:
Day-to-Day:
· You’ll engage in a variety of tasks that contribute to the architectural process.
· Collaborate with architects and project designers to create architectural designs, renders, and client schematic presentations.
· Use software like Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Lumion to model, draft and render architectural designs and create construction documents.
- Conduct site visits to gather information on existing conditions, constraints, and context for design projects. Understand the physical environment where the project will be implemented.
· Attend client meetings and act as a ‘sponge’ to grasp project requirements and objectives as well as take detailed notes during those meetings to help inform design decisions.
· Attend internal design charettes and help conduct precedent study research.
- Research building codes, zoning laws, and other regulatory requirements.
- Adhere to all aspects of Kinetic’s HR handbook.
Job Type: Full-time, In-office preferred but Hybrid allowed
