Required Skills:
- Proficient use of CAD and CAM
- Creation of CNC programs for Turning and Milling Machines 3 & 4 Axis
- Solid understanding of general machining practices & CNC setup requirements.
- Working understanding of GD&T.
- Ability To Analyze blueprints, and drawings to determine best machining process, selection of cutting tools & machine speeds and feeds.
- Creation of Tooling Control Sheets to document setup & operation.
- Design effective Tooling and Work Holding for machining process
- Support shop floor in development & running of First Article.
- High attention to detail, accustomed to deadlines and accountability
- Ability to define manufacturing problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to support legacy parts and processes
Preferred Skills: (Training Provided For A Qualified Applicant)
- Create & Maintain Process Models and Drawings
- In depth knowledge in Solidworks, HyperMill & Mastercam
- Set up and validate CNC programs with Vericut
- 5 Axis Programming
- Create & Maintain Process Routers & BOM's within an ERP system
- Knowledge of Siemens 840D, Fanuc and OSP machine controls
- Ability to provide estimated run time for quotations
- Familiar with machine probing, and pallet system integration for "Lights Out Manufacturing"
Schedule: Flexible
Experience:
- Manufacturing: 3 years, with at least 1 year of development experience (NPI)
- Programming: 2 years with any CAM software
- High School Diploma or GED
- Vocational School or Associates Degree Preferred
- Knowledge of Siemens 840D, Fanuc and OSP machine controls
- Ability to provide estimated run time for quotations
- Familiar with machine probing, and pallet system integration for "Lights Out Manufacturing"
