Job Position Summary: Process Engineer is responsible for the process design, operation, and implementation of manufacturing operations. You will be responsible to improve manufacturing processes to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability, and maximize profitability.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to safety regulation and standard. Follow Safety culture and wear PPE when required.
- Create, configure, and optimize manufacturing processes from inception through to start up and certification.
- Create Shop Routers and Bill of Materials
- Assess processes, take measurements, and interpret data.
- Gather, organize, and distribute data as required by process.
- Support any in-process issues on the shop floor.
- Develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.
- Provide process documentation and operating instructions.
- Drive Continuous Improvements increasing productivity, cost-savings within existing processes.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- 3-5 years' processing experience in Mechanical Engineering
- 3-5 years' NX CAD/CAM experience preferred.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and knowledge of GD&T
- Working knowledge in the Aerospace Manufacturing industry to include Aerospace standards and specifications Preferred.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing outside processes i.e. Plating, Surface treatments and Heat Treat.
- Excellent technical skills,
- Working knowledge of work holding methods and fixturing
- Working knowledge of inspection processes
- Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Strong computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree or higher in related field preferred
- Normal Production environments, subject to high noise levels from operating machines; physical hazards from moving equipment and sharp machine parts; breathing fumes, dust, and mist; skin exposure to oil and cutting fluid; exposure to sharp metal edges, and forklifts.
- May be asked to travel back and forth between Southwick and Westfield facilities.
- Must have ability to read applicable customer documents with or without corrective lenses.
- May have to lift up to thirty (30) pounds at a time, as required.
- Must be able to push, pull, reach overhead, stand, walk, climb stairs, bend and/or sit for long periods of time.
