Summary:
The Quality Control Coordinator is responsible for quality and process control of all heat treat processes, with hands-on participation with cross functional teams on the manufacturing floor to assist in trouble shooting and problem solving. They will provide technical assistance and training for process and technical staff as required, and test and evaluate induction process of gearing and pins.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Normal Production environments, subject to high noise levels from operating machines; physical hazards from moving equipment and sharp machine parts; breathing fumes, dust and mist; skin exposure to oil and cutting fluid; exposure to sharp metal edges, and forklifts

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Reviews work orders for accuracy and completion with Heat Treat Manger to determine pricing strategies
- Inspects parts for hardness and conductivity requirements
- Must be able to lift approx.40 lbs.
- Maintains QC logbooks on hardness and conductivity
- Performs quality audits using current audit sheets
- Performs 5S internal Audit
- Nonconformances, corrective actions, MRB and Nadcap audits
- Reviews all specification for the latest revisions
- Reviews all certifications
- Maintain Thermocouples required for all furnaces
- Reviews and verifies logbooks compliance on furnaces
- Maintains the gage track system
- Reviews and verifies weekly SAT's, PM's, Tus, and instrument calibration reports
- Handles day to day quality issues and works with Heat Treat Manager to develop business improvements and strategies to meet sales goals and achieve the business plan
- Notifies customers of job completion and pickup
- Follows up on questions concerning jobs with the support of the Heat Treat Manger
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Ensure inspection records are kept and properly completed to assure compliance to ISO9001/AS9100 requirements
- Review and Scan Day to day work orders into the system
- Other duties as assigned

- Must have ability to read applicable customer/B&E documents with or without corrective lenses.
- Must be able to lift up to thirty (30) pounds or more on a regular basis
- Must be able to push, pull, reach overhead, stand, walk, climb stairs, bend and/or sit for long periods of time.
