Responsibilities
- Lead HR operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across employment, payroll, benefits, and workplace policies.
- Direct and develop the HR team, overseeing hiring, training, and performance management to maintain a high-performing function.
- Provide strategic counsel to management on employment matters, including hiring, compensation, performance management, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and enforce workplace policies, offering guidance on employee relations, disciplinary actions, and investigations.
- Oversee payroll and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and effective employee communication.
- Implement and optimize HR systems, including payroll and HRIS platforms, to improve efficiency and data management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations, including OSHA, FMLA, FLSA, ERISA, and EEO.
- Manage vendor relationships, including benefits providers and HR technology partners, to optimize services and cost-effectiveness.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HR operations and employee experience.
- Collaborate across departments to support business objectives and align HR strategies with company goals.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, including corporate-level HR management.
- SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of employment law, compensation structures, payroll administration, and benefits programs.
- Experience managing HRIS and payroll systems with a focus on process optimization.
- Strong leadership and team development skills, with the ability to mentor and guide HR professionals.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive HR matters.
- Ability to provide clear guidance to leadership and employees.
