We are seeking a Sales Representative to drive business growth in Central Ohio for a leading provider in the printing and consumables manufacturing industry. This company supplies point-of-sale and credit card machine consumables while offering fulfillment, warehousing, kitting, and logistics services tailored to the retail sector. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, results-driven, and skilled at building strong customer relationships to drive sales and expand market presence.

This remote position requires frequent travel within the assigned territory, with occasional trips to the corporate office and trade shows. Candidates with existing business connections in the region and a proven ability to generate new opportunities are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and manage customer accounts through cold and warm calls, site visits, and outreach.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Reconnect with previous clients to restore relationships and drive new business.
  • Present, demonstrate, and sell products to prospective and existing clients.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals while expanding accounts with new offerings.
  • Analyze sales reports to track trends, opportunities, and customer needs.
  • Maintain customer interactions and sales activity in CRM software.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments.
  • Attend trade shows and networking events to generate leads.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor pricing strategies and provide market insights.
  • Train customers on product benefits and best practices.
  • Ensure strong territory presence through travel and in-person meetings.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive for sales and business development.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with disciplined time management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Experience in B2B sales or manufacturing / distribution is a plus.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the territory, including overnight stays.
  • Compensation :

  • 70,000 base salary commission
