Business Systems Analyst - Food Contract Manufacturing
Based: Fort Worth, TX OR Los Angeles, CA
Salary: $90,000 - $125,000
About Our Client: Kinetica are partnered with a privately owned Food & Beverage Contract Manufacturer HQ'd in Los Angeles, CA and also operating in Fort Worth, TX on a Business Systsem Analyst (EDI) opening. The BSA (EDI) improves company systems and workflows by analyzing user needs, designing solutions, and supporting key technologies like EDI and ERP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead customer/supplier EDI integrations (design, deployment, and support).
- Manage 3rd-party EDI vendors to meet performance goals.
- Administer EDI and integration platforms (monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization).
- Drive continuous improvements using SDLC best practices (e.g., process maps, test scripts, user training).
- Support enterprise-wide projects by documenting system requirements and specifications.
- Train end users on new and existing system functionality.
- Respond to IT support tickets, troubleshoot issues, and provide long-term solutions.
- Work with cross-functional IT teams to meet business objectives.
- Provide after-hours or weekend support as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 4 years of experience in business system support (preferably in manufacturing or food & beverage).
- EDI (ANSI X12, EDIFACT), ERP (Microsoft Business Central, Aspen Canopy), Integration Standards (XML, FTP, FFI).
- Ability to become a subject matter expert on assigned applications.
