Purpose : Support cross functional team by ensuring employees are trained and produce product to required quality specification and cycle time. Work directly with Supervisor on daily production work schedule for employees and assignment to ensure work orders due date are met.

Essential Job Responsibilities :

• Train employees in machines, product, and process.
• Track and report data as required by work area using excel and ERP.
• Working on actual work orders to support work schedule as required.
• Ensure PPE and safety procedures are followed by staff.
• Perform and oversee equipment checks and general upkeep work.
• Receive and put away materials.
• Conduct daily checks and follow up with production staff to ensure work assignments are clear and understood.
• Step in as backup person for supervisor for assigned duties.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Must be able to read production drawings, blueprints, and operate required power tools.
• Must be able to communicate verbally and work with many different departments, employees and their supervisors.
• Must be able to complete tasks assigned within the time frames given, and according to the specifications of each order.
• Operate CNC machine, COBOT, Waterjet, and Press as needed based on assigned area.
• Support shift supervisor on special projects.
• Must operate a forklift and / or truck motor and crane.
• Support and promote continuous improvement by working with LEAN department.

Supervision :

Received : General. Works independently within accepted guidelines. Receives occasional close / specific

supervision.

Given : Assist department Supervisor with training new employees and other duties as assigned.

Education / Experience :

High school diploma or equivalent required with 1-5 years of similar work experience may be required.

MIG welding and mid volume metal working experience, not required.

General pick and pack, and assembly line experience

Communication Skills / Requirements :

Able to communicate verbally or in writing as to works in progress, and discrepancy issues. Will be working directly with many different departments at once for any one particular order.

Mathematical Ability :

Able to use math to add, subtract, multiply or divide and may work with fractions, decimals, or percentages.

Reasoning Ability :

Able to follow instructions and / or directions requiring normal to extended periods of concentration. Requires ability to follow a course / sequence of action within specified procedures and to logically think through error issues in order to resolve or contact appropriate source. Must be able to organize work to ensure attention to detail and follow through.

Physical Demands :

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. (required)

Must be able to sit up to 2 hours a day, stand 5 hours and walk 1 hour. (required)

Repetitive motions with hands; grasping and fine manipulation. (required)

Requires prolonged periods of bending, kneeling and lifting. (required)

Work Environment :

Manufacturing plant. Exposed to normal manufacturing hazards.

Additional Information :

Work location : Corporate facility Dublin, OH; Working hours : Working hours may vary. Shift changes may be required as necessary. Overtime may be required to meet demands (as needed). Must be reliable with excellent attendance record. Generally responsible for the safety of own work area. Safety glasses and steel toe work boots required in all manufacturing areas.
