What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Process Engineer position at Kinetik?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide process and operational support to plant operations.
Input and manage MOCs for the process facilities.
Participate in PHAs for the PSM facilities.
Maintain P&IDs and Cause and Effect charts for all facilities.
Provide process engineering support to the Major Projects group in the design of new gas processing plants.
Build and maintain ProMax simulation models.
Manage, scope, and execute projects for the processing plants.
Expected to make regular plant visits, 1-2 days per week regularly, with further plant visits required while troubleshooting plant issues, managing project implementation/commissioning, and/or managing turnaround activities.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in engineering required (Chemical Engineering preferred)
6 years of experience in process engineering in gas processing facilities.
Working Conditions:
Field work will involve walking and standing on rough terrain with uneven and slippery surfaces.
The noise level in the work environment is generally quiet to moderate but may regularly require exposure to loud noises from machinery.
Will be required to regularly drive to other field facilities within their assigned region.
Will regularly use a computer to create, record, store, revise and save documentation needed to perform their role.

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
Ability to work effectively in all working conditions noted above.
Able to lift and carry up to 25-50 lbs. in a safe manner.
Ability to talk, listen and speak clearly on a telephone and in-person.
Ability to possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
Must live within a150 mile radius of Pecos, TX.
