What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plant Operator position at Kinetik?
Schedule: 7 on 7 off (rotating nights and days), available for overtime and call-out as needed based on business necessity
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Plant Operator works a rotating shift to operate and maintain the safe and compliant operations of the gas processing plant and related facilities.
Monitors and controls the processing plant equipment and systems from central control room using Wonderware HMI and eLynx systems.
Complete daily data entry on computer and mobile devices to record process conditions and production quantities.
Keep constant communication with fellow employees and management using email, telephone, and two-way radios.
Performs regularly scheduled inspections to detect malfunctions and ensure the proper, safe & compliant operation of the plant and pipeline facilities
Maintain and adhere to required company training, policies, and procedures
All other duties assigned
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 2 years’ related work experience
Good communicator, work planner with excellent work ethics and good background in computer applications
Regular and reliable attendance
Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs.
Outdoor work required with exposure to elements
Able to work/drive at night and in low light conditions
Driving, walking, standing frequently
Climbing stairs/ladders as needed to reach equipment on second level structures
Able to work extended hours and call out as needed
