Our mission is to provide quality customer service by focusing on a personalized approach for the fire & life safety needs of our customer’s facility. We are looking for a Fire Alarm Service Technician to join our experienced team in the Havre de Grace/ Aberdeen, MD area.
Job Responsibilities
As a Fire Alarm Service Technician, you will be responsible for service, testing, and Installation of fire alarm systems and devices.
Additional responsibilities of the Fire Alarm Technician include:
- Install and basic programming of fire alarm systems and devices
- Inspection of fire alarm and related systems
- Working knowledge of low voltage electrical systems
- Troubleshoot and repair alarm system malfunctions
- Maintain accurate records of service calls and completed work
- Excellent customer service
Job Requirements
To qualify for the Fire Alarm Technician position, you must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working with fire alarm systems.
Additional requirements of the Fire Alarm Technician Position include:
- NICET Certification Fire Alarm Level 1 or higher required level 2 preferred
- Thorough knowledge of NFPA 72 requirements and electrical codes
- Ability to climb ladders and lift 50 lbs.
- Proficiency with computer skills, MS Excel, Email
- Strong customer service skills and communications
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check
