About the Role: As a Field Service Technician, you’ll be the front line of our service team, traveling to customer sites to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in industrial machinery. You’ll leverage your expertise in PLC troubleshooting (programming a PLUS), AC/DC drive systems, and electrical schematics to provide solutions that keep our customers' operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- PLC Programming & Troubleshooting: Modify existing PLC code or write new code from scratch to meet customer needs. RS Logix 5000, TIA Portal
- Electrical Machine Troubleshooting: Utilize your mechanical aptitude and electrical skills to diagnose issues with industrial equipment.
- AC/DC Drive Programming: Program and troubleshoot drives to ensure optimal performance.
- Field Support: Travel to customer sites to resolve machinery issues, often involving complex systems integration and electrical maintenance.
- Technical Consulting: Work closely with customers and our engineering team to design system retrofits and provide ongoing support.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Industrial Maintenance, automation, or Systems Integration.
- Education: Associate Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or Electrical Maintenance.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in PLC (RS Logix 5000, TIA Portal, Allen Bradley, Siemens), AC/DC drives, and the ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, and a passion for learning and innovation.
