THIS POSITION REQUIRES 40% TRAVEL
Responsible for supporting the clinical and patient care needs of the Patient Care Representatives (PCR). Provides training and education to the PCRs and serves as a mentor to new Patient Care Representatives. Covers open service positions while hiring is in process. Evaluates the clinical application and administrative responsibilities of each PCR. Provides product selection support as well as working with the sales team to ensure the accounts are running efficiently. Works hand in hand with the territory liaison for hiring purposes.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day direction to the Patient Care Representatives & Service Leads. Ensure coverage for each of the locations. Approve and manage PTO time as well as provide feedback for performance evaluations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include but not limited to:

- Provide customer service to clinics, physicians, therapists, and patients
- Responsible for proper fitting and instruction of soft goods, bracing, bone growth stimulation, and all other products dispensed at clinics or a patient’s home
- Provide product application and instruction during the initial fitting and at any follow-up visits or calls
- Perform necessary product modifications to fit the patient according to the physician’s order
- Coordinate with patients for follow-up fitting appointments as necessary
- Respond to questions, issues, and problems of moderate to complex scope
- Ensure proper completion of insurance billing information forms
- Understand the billing process to educate the facility and patients
- Complete and submit accurate documentation, following all necessary compliance and regulatory processes
- Ensures proper completion of Insurance billing forms
- Have a valid driver’s license and dependable personal vehicle
- Other duties as assigned
- Provide feedback to complete performance reviews
- Ability to make necessary product modifications to fit the patient according to thephysician'ss order
Must be knowledgeable in the following areas:
- Use and care of the products
- Fitting problems and how to solve them
- Company’s services and availability
- Patient instruction and follow-up
- All patient oriented paperwork
Instructs staff on how to handle, document, and reissue products in the case of defective products:
- Handles all defective products with the coordination of the warehousing department
- Responsible for educating staff members to Kinex policies/procedures
- Responds to questions, issues, and problems of moderate to complex scope
- Serves as a liaison between Patient Care Representative and the organization
- Responsible for coordinating required audits of inventory as set forth by the management team
- Understands the billing process to educate the PCR’s and patients
Must be willing to travel to various territories, using own transportation/ if applicable, upon request as dictated by management for purposes of PCR clinical evaluation, and filling in where there are open PCR positions. THIS POSITION REQUIRES 40% TRAVEL.
- Assist in the hiring process for Patient Care Representatives.
- Create and manage the on-call and weekend schedule, and be available to support those on call representatives.
- Ensure completion of inactive inventory and assign the responsibility to specific representatives.
- Ensure completion of Quarterly counts and proactively prepare for them
- Maintain physician protocols the service team utilizes in your areas
- Complete ride alongs with each PCR 1-2 times a year
- Inspect and visit storage locations for compliance and stock levels
- Maintain the company’s image and reputation at the highest level possible
- Conduct oneself in a professional and ethical manner
- Maintain a professional appearance
Adheres to all internal corporate compliance guidelines and government healthcare regulations, in addition to the policies and procedures set forth by the clinic or hospital administration
