Kinex Medical is an innovative and leading distributor of durable medical equipment and supplies that services patients with orthopedic and post-surgical rehab products. Our headquarters is located in Waukesha, WI but we have distributors that span across the country. We are seeking a qualified individual in the Sioux Falls area to assist patients and individuals with the setup, delivery, and retrieval of our equipment and products. Our patients have either undergone orthopedic surgery or have sustained an injury resulting in the need for our care.
You will work directly with our patients to setup rental equipment, clean and test the equipment and perform light service/repair basics on some equipment. As needed, you may also be required to retrieve equipment from hospitals, patient homes and other facilities.
Work experience in the medical industry is helpful but not required. Knowledge of medical equipment and/or orthopedics is a plus. .
Applicant must be self-motivated, enthusiastic, personable, dependable, and professional. Strong interpersonal communication skills, conflict resolution skills and computer skills are a must. Candidate must also have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle. The position requires driving to service the Sioux Falls area.
Physical Demands:
· Ability to walk, bend, stand and reach constantly during a work day
· Requires the ability to regularly lift and/or move 30lbs and occasionally lift and/or move more.
Responsibilities:
· Appropriately and completely fill out all necessary paperwork
· Adhere to all safety regulations, OSHA, universal precautions, and infection control
· Participate in cross training as needed
· All other tasks as assigned by the Manager(s) or Owner(s)
