What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chef de Cuisine position at King and Prince Beach and Golf Resort?
The King and Prince Beach & Golf Resort has an opportunity for a Chef de Cuisine! Located in the beautiful Golden Isles, The King and Prince Resort is a TripAdvisor Traveler's Choice award winner and has been operating for 90 years. We are looking for someone to not only continue this tradition of excellence but to enhance the guest experience.
As the Chef de Cuisine, you will be responsible for leading daily culinary production, including but not limited to, preparation and production of meals; inspection of food quality and presentation; monitoring team member productivity and performance; as well as observing cost controls and overall profitability. This candidate must be self-motivated, energetic, and have a passion to deliver exceptional service.
The ideal candidate will have at least two to three (3-5) years of previous experience in culinary mangement at a large resort or comparable property; thorough knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations; experience in menu development and food preparation; ability to effectively manage labor and food costs; excellent leadership and communication skills; and can work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
