What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel PBX Operator position at King and Prince Beach and Golf Resort?
The King and Prince Beach & Golf Resort has an opportunity for a full-time Telephone Operator! Located in the beautiful Golden Isles, The King and Prince Resort is a TripAdvisor Traveler's Choice award winner and has been operating for 85 years. We are looking for someone to not only continue this tradition of excellence but to enhance the guest experience.
The Telephone Operator is responsible for responding to incoming calls in a timely and friendly manner and directing caller to appropriate destination.Other responsibilities include, but not limited to, being thoroughly knowledgeable of hotel amenities, facilities, and other information to provide guests accurate information; following up on maintenance orders; acting as dispatcher for security and guest services, providing timely information during emergencies; and managing multiple calls and inquiries simultaneously.
The ideal candidate will have at least two to three (2-3) years of previous guest service experience at a large resort or comparable property; ability to multi-task and work in high-pressure situations with patience; excellent communication skills; proficient in computer systems; and be available as needed including weekends and holidays.
