What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Officer (Part-Time) position at King and Prince Beach and Golf Resort?
The King and Prince Beach & Golf Resort is looking for a part-time Security Officer! Located in the beautiful Golden Isles, The King and Prince Resort is a TripAdvisor Traveler's Choice award winner and has been operating for 85 years. We are looking for someone to not only continue this tradition of excellence but to enhance the guest experience.
The Security Officer is responsible for providing the utmost in hospitality and security to guests of the resort by protecting the property, keeping the employees and guests safe, and to respond to the needs of guests and staff in a timely, accurate, efficient, courteous and safe manner. Additional responsibilities including, but not limited to, patrolling premises regularly to establish presence; monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles and/or people on property; check surveillance cameras periodically to identify concerns; investigate susicious activity; and submitting daily activity reports at the end of every shift.
The ideal candidate will have at least two to three (2-3) years of previous security experience at a large resort or comparable property, excellent surveillance and observation skills, be a team player, and be available as needed including weekends and holidays.
