We are seeking a Senior Business Development Coordinator to provide support related to marketing materials, pitches and RFPs, directory and award submissions, events, competitive intelligence research, marketing operations, and other business development and marketing activities as required for the Finance & Restructuring practice group. The Senior BD Coordinator will work closely with Managers and Senior Managers of Marketing and BD to support these strategic initiatives across the Finance & Restructuring practice.
The ideal candidate is a professional, self-starting, driven, strong project manager with attention to detail, who is forward thinking, collaborative and energetic.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Create dynamic presentations in PowerPoint and Word for pitches and RFPs under the direction of lawyers and business development managers; oversee the final production of deliverables to meet deadlines; log in pitch tracking system and proactively obtain outcomes.
- Compile and maintain marketing materials, including PowerPoint presentations, tombstones, content for the website and other custom materials. Work with Branding and Design to apply brand standards and firm templates to projects.
- Coordinate with Communications team and BD managers to compile lawyer and matter information and draft submissions related to legal directories and awards, such as Chambers, Legal 500 and Law360.
- Routinely gather and centralize experience lists for pitches, proposals, submissions and other materials.
- Develop a deep understanding of practice group goals and clients and apply understanding of plans to support cross-sell initiatives and draft compelling content.
- Work with the events team to coordinate and provide support for King & Spalding hosted client, internal, and external events including meetings, seminars, receptions, and dinners; coordinate and develop invitations and other event / content materials with the branding and marketing technology teams, as well as track and assisting with follow-up activities.
- Provide support for sponsorships and coordinate all activities involved with sponsorships such as processing payments, providing logos, shipping booths and materials, setting up booths (if necessary), ordering give-away items, and other needed activities, including attendance, as needed.
- Conduct research on a variety of topics including prospective and current clients, competitors and industry / market trends to aid in the development of client teams, pitches, RFP responses, and other internal and external marketing initiatives.
- Assist with lateral onboarding activities, including drafting bios and tracking client targeting outreach and efforts.
- Coordinate internal and external communications, including client alerts, newsletters, press releases and ads.

Pay Transparency Range :
NY : full-time annualized salary range $80,000-$95,000
CHI : full-time annualized salary range $75,000-$90,000
