What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Associate position at King Arthur Jewelry?
As a sales associate you will help customers chose products, process payments, and market on social media and ultimately giving customers a positive shopping experience.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Customer service: greeting customers, answering questions and providing information about jewelry, and assist them with finding items.
- Cash register: Operating the cash register and point of sale system, processing payments, handling returns and manage customer transactions efficiently.
- Marketing: Help with marketing on social media platforms and promotions for the store.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized sales floor.
Required Skills:
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Basic math for handling cash and sales transactions
- Willingness to learn. Training will be given.
Nice-to-have:
- Previous experience in retail, sales, or customer service.
- Familiarity with POS systems and other retail technology.
- An interest in jewelry to better connect with our customers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 30 per week
