Fabric Cutter, Fabrication, Assembly/Packing

King Bag & Mfg. Co. is a sewing and fabrication company specializing in niche products for the Aviation industry and other industrial applications. We are located seven miles from downtown Cincinnati in the neighborhood of Northside. We offer daytime hours, no weekends, a flexible schedule, available overtime (but not required), medical benefits, 401K, paid holidays and vacation, and a friendly work environment.

Experience in industrial sewing is welcome but not required. Skills in any manufacturing or fabrication environment may apply, although entry-level abilities and a willingness to learn new things are all that is necessary. However, we do require a basic working knowledge of math and measurements. We pay competitively for our industry and for your experience.

Salary is $18.00 per hour for entry-level or higher depending on experience.

Fabric cutter:

-Draw out fabric pieces using either patterns or measuring by hand, according to written instructions or diagrams

-Cut fabric pieces individually, or multiple layers using an electric knife

-Keep your work and your fabric stock organized and efficient

-Use judgment and creativity for best material usage and less waste

Light Industrial Assembly/Packing:

-Efficiently sort and package various items for shipment

-Keep products organized, using our work order and inventory systems

-Perform various other tasks that don't quite fit under "cutting" and "sewing", but are an important part of our team efforts
