King Capital Transport is a FedEx Ground Contractor looking for a Site Manager with relevant experience to lead our team in Fargo ND. The Site Manager will work out of both our terminal and office locations and oversee all site employees. Site Manager will work closely with Terminal Manager to ensure compliance with FedEx as well.
Working Hours
- Monday through Friday with weekends as needed
- Normal Scheduled Start Time is between 6am and 7am
- End Time can vary depending on scheduling, package count, and responsibilities for the day.

Site Manager Responsibilities
- Establish and monitor employee schedules based on company needs and designated rotations
- Learn all of the routes and customer needs serviced by our company
- Assign and create routes in DRO while managing associate’s workload according to capabilities
- Support the team with loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients in a safe and timely manner as needed
- Work with GroundCloud application to prepare the teams’ software for the day
- Handle and maneuver packages of varying sizes and weights without damage to the package or injury to oneself or others
- Utilize scanning technology and electronic devices to track and record delivery information
- Operate delivery vans safely, securely, and competently
- Adhere to all local traffic laws and safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and handling complaints from clients and employees
- Attends daily supervisor meetings with FedEx contact to ensure compliance
- Help conduct regular employee safety meetings
- Oversee and approve employee timecards
- Conduct driving tests and onboarding tasks for new employees
- Conduct performance reviews for employees
- Conduct driver ride-alongs for review, performance improvement, or safety requirements
- Ensure compliance of other drivers through coaching and training drivers and conducting meetings with FedEx terminal representatives
- Assist in Driver Development and Safety Program
- Work closely with other managers in the company
- Ensure vehicles get proper maintenance in a timely manner
- Prepare maintenance reports as necessary
- Maintain and record invoices for associates
- Adhere to procedures and expectations of FedEx Ground.
- Other duties as assigned
Site Manager Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (College Degree Preferred)
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Minimum 1 year of driving experience in the last 3 years
- Must submit to a background check and motor vehicle report
- Ability to pass a DOT Physical and Drug Test
- Ability to lift up to 60lbs on your own and 150lbs with a cart
- Ability to get in and out of a vehicle several times every day
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- 3 years of experience leading teams of 5 people or greater preferred
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and organization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Suites
