Production Manager

Job Description:

The Production Supervisor will manage all production operations, ensuring smooth workflows, regulatory compliance, and achievement of production goals. This role demands strong leadership, keen attention to detail, and the ability to oversee a team in a fast-paced setting.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership & Management:
• Oversee, train, and lead the production team, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company standards
• Cultivate a positive workplace by encouraging teamwork, accountability, and open communication
• Production Operations:
• Manage daily operations to maintain quality, accuracy, and efficiency
• Evaluate and improve workflows to meet production deadlines and minimize waste
• Ensure correct product handling, labeling, and storage
• Compliance & Quality Assurance:
• Ensure compliance with state regulations, including METRC tracking, labeling, and reporting
• Enforce quality control standards to guarantee all packaged products meet company and regulatory requirements
• Inventory Management:
• Track production materials and supplies, maintaining inventory levels and placing orders as needed
• Work closely with other departments to coordinate inventory tracking and reporting
• Process Improvement:
• Recognize opportunities for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
  

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in operations, ideally within the cannabis industry or a regulated setting
• Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a background in supervising diverse teams
• Knowledge of state cannabis regulations and METRC tracking
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively
• Keen attention to detail and a dedication to maintaining high-quality standards
• Proficiency in Google Workspace or similar software for tracking and reporting
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or other process improvement methods
• Understanding of cannabis products, packaging materials, and regulatory compliance
• Experience in a fast-paced production environment
