Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Expo/Food Runner to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the smooth operation of our dining establishment by delivering food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables in a timely manner.
Duties
- Transport food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables quickly and accurately
- Ensure that food is presented neatly and in accordance with established standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food delivery efficiently
- Assist in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure customer satisfaction
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines at all times
Experience
- Previous experience in a food service setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation and handling procedures
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations and culinary terminology
Pay Rate: $14 an hour
