Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Transportation Safety Administrator at King County Metro Transit. The role involves overseeing health & safety protocols, employee health and safety (EHS) compliance, communication on safety matters, occupational health practices, safety training, and ensuring a safe transportation environment. This role will be primarily based in Seattle, WA, with some flexibility for remote work.
Qualifications
- Health & Safety, EHS, and Occupational Health skills
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in safety training
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards
- Certifications in safety management or occupational health (e.g., CSP, CIH) is a plus
- Experience in public transportation or related field
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Safety Management, or related field
Specifically we are looking for candidates with strong electrical safety experience and transit operations safety experience.
