King County’s Inquest Program is seeking a Case Management Project/Product Manager to fill a TLT role in overseeing and implementing a case management system for the Inquest Program. The ideal candidate will ensure this project is completed on schedule and within budget; executes project plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables; interfaces with technical and non-technical stakeholders; and reports issues to Inquest Program Manager that may impact project completion, budget, and/or other results. This position works under close supervision of all deliverables and duties with the Inquest Program Manager.
This recruitment is to fill a Term-Limited Temporary/Special Duty Assignment position that is anticipated to end in December 2025.
This vital position ensures that this project stays on track from beginning to completion. This role is responsible for finalizing the procurement, implementing and processing all of the documents into the new case management system for the Inquest Program. Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented team player who enjoys problem solving and identifying processes to execute process improvements in a fast-paced work environment.

Employees will be provided with a County issued laptop. When working remotely employees must maintain a workspace with an internet connection (access may be supplemented in some situations) where they can reliably perform work, remain available and responsive during scheduled work hours, and follow DES Hybrid and Remote Guidelines including on-camera participation during virtual video meetings. King County has a robust collection of tools and resources to support working remotely.

- Have ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds.

- Are skilled in collaborating within a team environment, guiding group discussions, and providing constructive project feedback.
- Work Site Details: The work associated with this position will be hybrid.
- Location Requirement: Employees must reside in Washington state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements. This position currently performs work remotely and onsite but, in the future, may be required to work in-office up to 3 days per week. - Work Schedule: Employees are paid on a bi-weekly schedule, every other Thursday, comprising a 40-hour workweek; normally 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
