Food Service Worker / Dietary Aide Job Summary:
Performs cleaning and porter work in and about the kitchen and dining room. Clean and wash pots, pans, stoves, ovens, coolers, and other equipment. Operate dishwasher. Unpack and store food. Dispose of trash.
Food Service Worker / Dietary Aide Essential Qualifications:
- Must be able to follow given orders and directions.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and follow oral and written instructions.
- No experience is required but some is helpful.
- Must be in good physical health and free of communicable disease.
- Must meet all personnel requirements as set forth by King David Center.
Food Service Worker / Dietary Aide Essential Job Functions:
- Wear complete uniform at all times.
- Perform cleaning work in the kitchen and dining room.
- Adhere to job timeliness.
- Responsible for care of assigned equipment and supplies.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Clean and wash pots, pans, stoves, ovens, coolers and other equipment.
- Prepare tableware and other items for washing and operate dishwasher.
- Unpack food and store food supplies and paper supplies as needed.
- Dispose of all bottles, cans and trash.
- Prepare pantry set up responsibilities: ensuring accuracy, timeliness and quality.
- Sweep and mop floor.
