What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Technician Trainee position at King Dental Arts?
Job Overview:
We are seeking a person to train for a dental technician position in our implant department. We are a dental laboratory that manufactures crown and bridge restorations. This position requires manual adjustment on our crowns / bridges using a handpiece, so there is a high emphasis on being skillful with your hands. This position requires precise motor skills that are used for shaping and adjusting dental crowns. No previous dental experience is necessary, as we prefer to train on the job.
We are looking for someone who is wanting to immerse themselves in their work. Any past experience with jobs that require motor skills and precision are a plus (dremel, woodworking, pottery, cake decorating, sewing, jewelry making, etc..). This is a fast paced environment where everyone here is specialized in their specific task. Rather than generalizing and training on a wide range of tasks, our jobs are narrow to your specific role.
This position is detail specific. The ability to follow procedure, and ask a question whenever something is unclear is very important.
If you feel that you have the hand dexterity and are curious and willing to dive into learning as much as you can about your specific role, please apply.
