Job Title: Custodian (Office Building Cleaning) (Part-Time)
Hours: 2-4 hours per session, twice per month
Location: 8330 US 67 HWY Alvarado, TX 76104
Job Summary: We are looking for a reliable and efficient part-time custodial worker to clean an office building twice per month. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for office staff and visitors. This role requires attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in office areas, restrooms, and hallways.
- Dust and wipe down furniture, desks, and office equipment.
- Clean restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and replenishing supplies.
- Empty trash cans and recycling bins, disposing of waste properly.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including countertops and appliances.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the office management team.
- Perform any additional cleaning tasks as requested by the management.
Qualifications:
- Previous custodial or cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to lift and move cleaning equipment as needed.
- Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and products.
Work Environment:
- This is a part-time position (2-4 hours per session, twice per month).
- Occasional flexibility in scheduling based on office needs.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- No formal experience required, but prior custodial experience is a plus.
