Job Title: General Maintenance Worker
The General Maintenance Worker performs a variety of tasks involving the general maintenance and repair of NRL buildings, premises, and varied equipment, and to perform other duties consistently. May be required to perform minor glazing services, lock repairs, woodworking tasks, electrical, painting, heating, and ventilating services and any other normal routine maintenance duties associated with operation of NRL buildings and equipment
Duties:
1. Performs miscellaneous repair, maintenance construction, general installation, and preventative maintenance work under the direction of Supervisor, Site/Operations Manager.
2. Performs a variety of repairs and tasks while directly assisting trades personnel including and not limited to replacing floor tile, replacing electrical ballasts and fluorescent tubes, repair fencing, patch asphalt or concrete, setting forms, installing paper towel or toilet paper dispensers, patching holes in plaster or wood walls, patching roofs, scraping paint, and other normal maintenance.
3. Performs minor inspection duties of work performed or general building conditions under the direction of the Site Manager.
4. Cleans worksites including hauling debris and trash to the dumpster, cleaning tools and equipment and ensuring tools, materials and equipment are stored properly.
5. Perform other duties as assigned by Site Manager/Project Manager or their representative.

Working hours are from 6 am – 2:30 pm Monday – Friday.
Position is a Union (Local 99) position.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
• High School Diploma or GED required.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE:
• Valid DMV driver’s license.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
• 1 year of related experience.
