Requirements:- Assist producers with reviewing and evaluating policies based on established guidelines to assess risks for adequate coverage, type, amount, and location of risks, and proper pricing.
- Assist with the processing of new business, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, and non-renewals.
- Establish and build relationships with internal and external customers and carriers via phone and email.
- Review applications, endorsements, and policies.
- Review transactions to determine proper methods of processing.
- Verify data and perform technical tasks in the data processing function.
- Order and review miscellaneous reports as needed by management.
- Respond to clients’ needs by producing binders, certificates, policies, and other related items accurately and timely.
- Assist in managing client retention according to agency protocols.
- Update the agency management system with pertinent information.
- Provides support to AM, AE or Producer in the new business and renewal business workflows.
- Maintain accurate file documentation in accordance with company guidelines.
- Develop of maintain superior relationships with commercial lines producers.
- Perform quality control on all new business and documents in account management system.
- Present positive customer service experience for our clients and colleagues. Work effectively as part of a team.
- Assist with client communication.
- Prepare files for renewal including file organization.
- Generate policy documentation as needed.
- Ability and willingness to continually grow your insurance expertise skills.
- All other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA):
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Knowledge of insurance policy construction and regulations. Familiarity with risk management.
- Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills.
- Outstanding verbal/written communication skills.
- Ability to perform large work volumes with high degrees of accuracy.
- Excel proficiency to include MS Office suite of applications.
- Exceptional personal character, including a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to assist others.
Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of database software.
- High-level typing skills.
