Under the direction of and reporting to the Food Safety and Quality Manager the Training Coordinator coordinates and administers training and development programs to maximize the human resource potential at the company. Because King Juice is a beverage facility, this position will impact the food safety and quality of our product- the employee must work with food safety and quality in mind
Responsible for :
- Design and develop training programs (in-house) including educational aids and materials.
- Train new hires in company policies, safety requirements, food safety and quality awareness, job specific food safety and quality tasks, and specific job tasks.
- Create training schedules (including communicating training to employees and scheduling the conference room) for all company departments, track and create reports on outcomes of all training and maintain training records for the company.
- Select appropriate training methods or activities (i.e., simulations, mentoring, on-the-job training, professional development classes)
- Conduct organization-wide training needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed.
- Assess instructional / training effectiveness, determine the impact of training on employee skills and KPIs, and evaluate feedback.
- Work with department managers to formulate and develop plans, procedures, and programs to meet specific training needs and any gaps / problems.
- Organize and develop training manuals, reference library, and other educational material.
- Ensure accessibility to employees.
- Based on feedback from employees, department managers etc., modify training programs as needed.
- Create / Maintain organizational charts for Operating Team Members.
- Become an expert in Redzone Learning
- Use known educational principles and continue education on new techniques and developments in training, as well as governmental regulations affecting company policies and human resource practices.
Work closely with the Food Safety and Quality Manager to become a qualified food safety and quality task trainer.
Requirements :
Bilingual English / Spanish
Requires a minimum of an associate degree in education, Training, or related field or 3 – 5 years of experience.
Proven work experience as a Training Coordinator, Trainer, Training Facilitator, or similar role
Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
Familiarity with traditional and modern job training methods and techniques
Experience with e-learning platforms
Problem Solving
Intermediate ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong communication skills
