Room Attendant, Part Time
Rate of Pay: $22.28/hour

Opportunity Awaits on the beautiful Island of Hawaii... King Kamehameha Kona Beach Resort Courtyard by Marriott currently has an opening for a talented Part Time Room Attendant to share the aloha spirit and strive to create a memorable guest experience.

Brief Summary of Job: Performs routine tasks of cleaning and servicing guests’ accommodations such as rooms, suites, baths, lanais, breakfast bars and other areas.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to:

____ Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing
personalized service to hotel guests.
____ Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
____ Clean guest rooms to Company standards including but not limited to: making
beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, etc.
____ Performs routine jobs under little or no direct supervision.
____ Work is subject to inspection by supervisors.
____ Follow Company policy for room amenities.
____ Maintain complete security of master room key.
____ Report any maintenance items that need immediate attention.
____ Assist with laundry as needed.
____ Report any missing/found articles or damage to Housekeeping management.
____ Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best
overall performance of the department and hotel.
____ Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.

Requirements Knowledge/Education/Experience: Previous one (1) year experience preferred.

Skills/Abilities/Other Requirements: Basic cleaning skills. Ability to communicate in English with guests, management and fellow team members to their understanding desirable. Ability to prioritize, organize and make good judgments. Dependable.
