What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chef position at King Koney?
Chef is responsible for using their culinary expertise to create appetizing dishes and creating menu items to drive the culinary experience of our new diner. Duties include overseeing kitchen staff, tasting dishes, creating menu items such as soups and sauces, and restocking food produce as needed.
Chefs work with other kitchen staff to ensure that the kitchen runs effectively, and must be experts at ensuring food quality is above standards and maintaining kitchen equipment. Other duties and responsibilities:
- Ensure that all dishes are cooked well and presented in an aesthetically pleasing way
- Oversee food preparation, checking that all kitchen staff are performing their duties
- Monitor equipment quality and order new equipment as needed
- Help the restaurant determine how much food and supplies need to be ordered
- Train new kitchen staff
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $1,200.00 - $1,500.00 per week
