Quality Technician

Job Summary: In the role you will have a good understanding and knowledge of quality standards. This will be used to develop and manage product. Technical abilities to inspect and certify the standard of products in an organization. Evaluate product functionality and monitor operations to ensure they align with quality criteria, industry regulations and customer requirements.

You will develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure the company's product is to ours and the customer standards, inspecting at various stages in production.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Metrology implementation and usage.
• Work in partnership with production managers to ensure product quality expectations.
• Perform department LPA’s Dock Audits.
• Set quality standards and develop strategy to meet yearly goals.
• Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for shipping.
• Measure product dimensions, examine functionality and compare the final product to the specifications.
• Teach the production team about quality control concerns to improve product excellence

Skills and Qualifications

• Communication skills to convey information in reports, meetings, and status reports.
• Knowledge of the product to perform accurate quality control.
• Attention to detail.
• Analysis, and problem-solving skills to review systems
• In-depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards.
• Ability to operate under deadlines while still meeting standards.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for short periods of time.
• Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records
