Description:
The Container Maintenance Technician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing tire mold containers to ensure they meet quality and dimensional standards.
1st Shift = 6:30am - 2:30pm
Essential Functions
- Perform detailed inspections of mold containers including guide pieces, tread shoe slides, and container plates
- Measure critical dimensions (e.g., flatness, height, diameter) and compare them to tolerance standards
- Document and report inspection results accurately using internal systems and forms
- Follow technical documents and standards (e.g., MMT_ME_212, MMT_ME_213) for preload and fitment guidelines
- Identify wear or damage and coordinate required maintenance or replacement
- Ensure all inspection tools are calibrated and maintained
Work Environment
- Manufacturing-floor setting.

- Worker is subject to bodily injury from exposure to heavy-duty equipment.
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing space.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Bending, stooping, crouching, and reaching to access different areas of machinery and equipment.
- Prolonged periods of standing, sitting, and walking.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong working knowledge of manufacturing principles and quality control methods.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
