What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher/Dietary Aide position at King Manor Care & Rehabilitation Center?
King Manor Care and Rehabilitation is a skilled rehab/nursing home We are a small home like facility and offer flexible schedules and an upbeat working environment.
The Dishwasher will provide variety of kitchen utility duties including dish washing and cleaning procedures and other dining services functions as directed/instructed in accordance with established dining services policies and procedures.
- Assist in serving meals as necessary and on a timely basis.
- Assists in daily or scheduled cleaning duties.
- Carries out garbage and keeps work areas clean, dry and free of hazardous equipment, supplies, etc.
- Sets up meal trays, food carts, dining room, etc. as instructed.
- Assist cook in preparing meals when requested.
- Delivers food carts, trays, etc. to designated areas.
- Serves food in dining room as instructed.
- Performs dish washing/cleaning procedures.
- Prepares and delivers snacks as instructed.
- Other duties as deemed necessary and appropriate or as directed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in dining services desired
- Knowledge of state food-handling and kitchen regulations helpful
- Must function independently; have flexibility, personal integrity and ability to work effectively with residents, personnel and support agencies.
