Job Description
King Milling is seeking a self-motivated individual to join our team in a 1st shift General Labor position. This position is responsible for maintaining a high degree of hygiene and safety in all processing areas and plant grounds. They must remove dust, dirt, accumulated grain, milled product residue and debris, to assist in the production of high-quality products free of contamination, infestation or food safety hazards. You may be required to load, unload and transfer product, working with a variety of equipment, maintaining the work site while occasionally making minor repairs. Requirements include good communication, problem solving abilities and some computer skills. The qualified candidate must be able to work mostly independently, with the ability to prioritize tasks, as needed.
Working Conditions
Conditions often involve an environment with elevated noise levels and moving machinery, and can be very dusty. General Laborers often work by themselves. Work is done in a variety of conditions, indoors and outdoors, so an ability to adapt to a diverse work environment is required. The ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and climb stairs and ladders is essential.
Working Hours
Shift would be Mon-Fri 7:00am-4:00pm.
