Primary Function: The Industrial Cleaning Tech is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of the manufacturing facility, ensuring a safe and well-kept environment. This role focuses on cleaning high areas such as rafters and ceilings, as well as production and painting lines when opportunities arise. Utilizing equipment such as scissor lifts, the Industrial Cleaning Tech removes dust, debris, and cobwebs from overhead structures to support workplace safety and efficiency. While this position primarily focuses on industrial cleaning tasks, additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Requirements:Monday - Friday 6:45 - 3:30
- Perform routine and deep cleaning of rafters, ceilings, and other high surfaces using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Clean and maintain production lines, ensuring dust, debris, and residue do not interfere with operations.
- Perform cleaning of painting lines as needed to maintain a safe and efficient workspace.
- Safely operate scissor lifts and other equipment to clean overhead structures.
- Inspect and maintain cleaning tools and equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures while performing cleaning tasks.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure work is conducted in a safe manner.
- Report any facility maintenance concerns, such as leaks or structural issues, to the appropriate department.
- Assist with painting or other facility upkeep tasks when needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned, which may include light maintenance tasks or additional cleaning needs outside of standard responsibilities.
- Report to work at the scheduled time, work as scheduled and is seldom absent from work.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle various maintenance issues.
- Ability to work in heights (30ft).
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
Education/Experience/Certifications/Licenses
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
