- Transport raw materials, components, and finished products using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Deliver materials to production lines based on schedules and priorities.
- Store materials in designated areas to prevent damage and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and storage areas.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies to the inventory or supply chain manager.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with stock audits as needed.
- Assist with the setup and teardown of production lines, including positioning tools and materials.
- Remove and dispose of waste materials and packaging from production areas.
- Inspect materials for damage or defects before delivering them to the production line.
- Report material defects or quality issues to the quality control team or production supervisor.
- Maintain accurate records of material usage, stock levels, and material movements.
- Complete documentation such as material transfer forms and inventory logs.
- Follow all safety protocols, company policies, and industry regulations while handling materials and operating equipment.
- Keep the work area clean and organized to promote a safe working environment.
- Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the maintenance team.
- Maintain reliable attendance by reporting to work on time and working as scheduled.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
