What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd shift Maintenance Supervisor position at King & Prince Seafood?
What you'll do :
Contribute to the overall success of Gorton's Seafood and its maintenance objectives by leading the assigned Shift maintenance team. This position will be responsible for overseeing maintenance repairs, providing technical support, and coordinating maintenance activities. This position reports to the Maintenance and Facilities Manager and maintains a close working relationship with production management and Engineering.
- Ensure the proper and timely completion of all scheduled and unscheduled machine repair activities.
- Coordinate the daily workload for assigned Shift Process Technicians.
- Ensure that all the available maintenance resources are appropriately deployed to best support the operation.
- Support Operations as needed to ensure optimal run efficiencies for products.
- Support the Maintenance team to ensure the highest quality of work is completed and work is completed on time.
- Schedule and execute a daily maintenance plan based on the production schedule and maintenance workload needs.
- Provide technical assistance and support to production management.
- Assist in training and development of Maintenance Technicians.
- Help with diagnostics and troubleshooting with technicians to ensure timely repairs.
- Review work orders to ensure PM's are correct and report needed updates to the Manager.
