Repair, install, adjust, or maintain industrial production and processing machinery or refinery and pipeline distribution systems. May also install, dismantle, or move machinery and heavy equipment according to plans.
Requirements
Essential Duties Learning Outline
Age: Minimum qualifications required by the sponsor for people entering the apprenticeship program, with an eligible starting age not less than 18 years.
Education: A high school diploma, General Educational Development (GED) equivalency or other high school equivalency credential may be required.
Physical: Applicants must be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the apprenticeship program, with or without reasonable accommodation, and without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of the individual or others.
Aptitude Test: All applicants must successfully be admitted to Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC), OR, be authorized to participate in the approved program and partake in the designated coursework aligned with apprenticeship.
Other: On acceptance into the program and prior to being employed, applicants will be required to submit to a criminal background check and drug screen.
