As a General Shift Helper at King & Prince Seafood, you will play a vital role in maintaining the efficiency of our production process. Our team members are responsible for ensuring that all areas of the facility are clean and safe for employees and products.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift while adhering to safety regulations.
- Maintain compliance with factory Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to meet internal and external standards.
- Perform general cleaning and housekeeping tasks to ensure employee safety and product quality, including sweeping, vacuuming, trash removal, and recycling.
- Stage materials as needed throughout the shift and prepare for the next shift.
- Assist other positions during breaks, lunches, or times of need, as requested by supervisors or management.
- Clean and organize the washroom area, including locking and securing chemical cabinets, cleaning floors and sinks, and properly hanging tools.
