Requirements
- Contributes to a positive and proactive safety culture. Demonstrates strong commitment and leadership to providing a sustainable, safe, and healthful work environment. Ensures full compliance with all applicable company and regulatory environmental, health and safety requirements.
- Develops and executes a comprehensive training program for the Redmond and Bellingham Plants.
- Builds and promotes a continuous learning culture.
- Assesses and evaluates current team member capabilities and training needs to identify skill gaps and areas for improvement.
- Oversee training materials, equipment, and technology, ensuring they are up to date, relevant and accessible to all employees.
- Develops and delivers effective training systems, processes and programs.
- Develops and ensures compliance with consistent standards for training content, formatting, technology, delivery, and document control.
- Works closely with subject matter experts to create role-specific training content, courses, manuals, and job aids.
- Manage deliverables and timelines of training projects, including gathering project requirements, prioritizing competing deadlines, and communication of roadblocks to appropriate stakeholders.
- Collaborates with key leadership to ensure team members are being trained appropriately, are capable of successfully performing all job tasks. Facilitates retraining as needed.
- Tracks and reports on the impact of training on performance and retention
- Solicits feedback from team members to continually improve training content, processes, and programs.
- Maintains a thorough understanding of relevant equipment, process operations and training technologies.
- Creates and maintains training records, competency assessments, and documentation.
- Drives innovation and continuous improvement in training.
- Designs and delivers classroom training programs to all levels.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, High School Diploma or GED required
- 2-3 years’ experience in industrial operations or training management
- Proficiency with MS Office applications and basic video editing
- Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and work independently
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and deliver effective group and individual training
