What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dealership Manager position at King Ranch Ag & Turf?
This position is responsible for the supervision and leadership in all areas of the dealership’s day to day business activities.
Plan, direct, or coordinate the operations of the John Deere dealership retail store. Duties and responsibities include the overall planning, direction, support and achievement of sales and marketing activities within the dealership to reach all profitability and customer satisfaction goals.
Responsible to develop an approved yearly budget of expenses and income with department managers. Assist and provide the direction and support to achieve budget goals.
· Work closely with all department managers to achieve maximum sales and customer satisfaction within their department.
· Responsible to work closely with all manufactures and suppliers to meet and comply with all contracts and agreements as well as the marketing and sales programs as needed or required.
· Responsible for the hiring, the dismissals, training, development and performance evaluations of all employees working closely with department managers in evaluating and improving employee performance.
· Maintain contact with customers to improve communications in what is needed for ongoing improvements in customer service and that all customer issues and concerns are handled in a positive manner.
· Monitor closely inventory stocking levels taking advantage of buying programs to increase profitability as well as controlling shrinkage and inventory expenses.
· Closely work with accounting staff in accounts payable processing as well as direct involvement in all accounts receivable and credit issues and needs.
· Ensure compliance with all company business policies, procedures and safety regulations.
High school diploma or equivalent
· Knowledge of agriculture, especially farming and ranching.
· Inventory Management.
· Motivate people.
· Sales ability.
· Prior publishing and retail management experience preferred.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC:
· The individual should be a self-starter, detail oriented and organized. Qualifications include excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization and with outside contacts.
· Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and capable of utilizing Microsoft Word programs.
· Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing, the ability to be an approved driver for the company and to safely operate vehicles.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
